EXTREME FILM MAKING!
Monday 4th August – Friday 8th August (10-4pm)
Ages 10+
Start on Day 1 with nothing other than a blank sheet of paper and a pencil. End on Day 5 with a fully edited short film on DVD. In between, you’ll script, storyboard, shoot, act, direct and edit it. If you think you can handle Extreme Film making – book your place now for a shoot you’ll never forget!

MAKE A MUSICAL
Monday 11th August – Friday 15th August (10-4pm)
Ages 6-10 years
Your mission: To create an all-singing all-dancing musical in just 5 days, based on a current story in the news!
Start on Day 1 with a blank sheet of paper. Then write the songs, script and devise the dance routines and staging. Along with a Musical Director and Director / choreographer you put together the whole show for your parents and friends to see on Day 5.

PLAY IN A WEEK – ALFIE THE WONDERKID
Monday 28th July – Friday 1st August 2008 (10-4pm)
Ages 8-16 years
Fancy a challenge over the holiday period? Join our holiday workshop and rehearse a complete play in just 5 days!
Not only do you have to perform in it, you need to create the set, props and costumes too if you’re going to bring this brilliant play to life for your parents and friends when they see it on Day 5!

HOLIDAY WORKSHOP EXTRAVAGANZA!

WHAT ARE WEEKLY WORKSHOPS?
In addition to our regular weekend classes, we run special week-long workshops during school holidays. With us, holiday boredom is a thing of the past! Courses are being added all the time – so check with your individual school to find out what is being offered during your next holiday. Here are just a few of the exciting things on offer…
MAKE A MUSICAL
Five days to devise, write, direct and perform your own short musical. Yes, that’s right – you start on Monday morning with nothing but a blank sheet of paper and end on Friday with an all-singing all-dancing show! If you love musical theatre, have a skill for song-writing or just love a challenge – this one’s for you!
MAKE A SHORT FILM
Using skills you’ve learnt from the TV & Film module, direct and perform in a short film. From the pre-production stages of planning locations and shots to shooting and editing, you will finish the week with a short film to be proud of!
PLAY IN A WEEK
Rehearse a play in just a week! An intensive, fun and exciting way to work. There are many script options available, including some specially written ones, available only to PQA. This course ends in a presentation to parents and friends – who will marvel at your achievement in performing such a slick show in so short a time!
WONDERKID ADVENTURE WEEKS®
Our youngest students can join us on the most exciting adventure of their lives. Our Wonderkid Adventure Weeks® are multi-sensory story-telling experiences which take children on a wonderful performance journey. From the depths of the jungle to the mysteries of outer space, this week will take them to the limits of their imagination… and beyond!
MONSTER MASH
Again, one for our youngest students – as a group of intrepid explorers go in search of the world-famous ‘Monster Mash’ – a huge party for ‘little monsters’. There’s dancing, there’s singing and there’s mischief aplenty in this brilliant devised theatre piece which ends in a short show for parents.
