West End Shows

PQA West End Show at Her Majesty's TheatrePauline Quirke Her Majesty's TheatreI would like to invite you and your family to join us for our most ambitious and exciting show yet, “American Dreams” at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s buzzing West End – home of Phantom of the Opera.

We are delighted that our PQA children are getting this “one in a lifetime” opportunity to perform in such spectacular surroundings.

I feel honoured and excited that I will be hosting our first ever West End shows this summer and look forward to seeing the children enjoying this experience. They will be hard at work rehearsing for this at all our Academies right now and I am sure you are looking forward to seeing their achievements as much as I will. I am very proud of all our children and wish them all the best for these performances.

I am also delighted that a charity close to my heart, Children’s Hospice UK – a national charity that gives a voice and support to all children’s hospice services, will be receiving all profits from this event. We will be inviting children associated with the charity to come along and watch the performance and hope to make this a special evening for themas well as you!

I look forward to seeing you all in this magical evening!

Best wishes

PQA West End Shows

American Dreams explores the highs, lows, hopes and fears of a land which is one of the greatest sources of inspiration for the world’s entertainers. A land where anything is possible, where you can roll the dice and take your chance. A land where ecstacy and crushing pain are two sides of the same coin.

Performing on theWest End stage is considered the pinnacle of achievement for any performer. The show will be the culmination of many month’s hard work and discipline from the students and we hope you and your family and friends will want to join them for this spectacular evening of entertainment, hosted by our very own Pauline Quirke.

Information regarding tickets for our 2012 shows will appear here nearer the time.

Regrettably infants under the age of 3 are not permitted entrance to the theatre. All children of 3 years of age or above must have a ticket and take a seat. Photography or video recording is strictly prohibited, however, we are arranging for a professional photographer to attend dress rehearsals. These photos will be available to browse and order at your Academy a couple of weeks after the show. These rules and restrictions are implemented by Her Majesty’s Theatre Management and must be adhered to by PQA.

The profits from our West End season will be donated to Children’s Hospice UK

Children’s Hospice UK is the national charity that gives voice and support to all children’s hospice services. Our vision is for every child and young person who is not expected to reach adulthood – and their family – to have awareness of, and access to, the highest standards of care and support close to or in the home.

“It is an honour and a privilege to have been asked to be Patron of Children’s Hospices UK. For a long time I have admired their incredible work. I have seen first-hand the invaluable care and support they offer to thousands of young people and their families. I hope by being closely involved with the charity I can help raise the profile of Children’s Hospices UK and support them in raising much needed funds for the children’s hospices they support across the country”.

“I am both very happy and proud to be a Patron of Children’s Hospices UK. This follows my long-term support of CHASE hospice care for children and many years working with children with serious illnesses. I understand only too well the vital importance of children’s hospice care and the invaluable support they provide to life-limited children and their families. I look forward to raising awareness of the role that children’s hospices play throughout the UK as well as crucial funds.”
