PQA LEICESTER MAKES SOME NOISE FOR CHARITY EVENT!

Approximately 100 of the students at PQA Leicester made some serious noise (and money!) for Hearing Dogs for Deaf Children last Saturday at South Leicestershire College. Our first charity event was attended by parents and friends of the children, who paid a donation to watch a mini Musical Theatre showcase, and thanks to their generosity and the students’ hard work (not to mention Ellesha and Evee’s cupcakes!) we raised £171!

The show was attended by two canine representatives from the charity – Molly and Berrie – who then visited the students in their classes afterwards to show their appreciation (much to the students’ delight!) Our ‘Let’s Hear it for Deaf Children’ event will help more young deaf people be matched with hearing dogs, who support the children so that they no longer feel isolated from society, thus allowing them to lead a much more enriched life.
