The winter term ended with a flash. The concert for family and friends really was a celebration. So much hard work had been done by student and teacher alike and for principles Tom and Alan it felt like the fruition of the first full term.
During the term the school had grown by more than a third in student numbers and a whole new class had started; the poppets. New staff had joined us; Ryan taking over in Musical theatre and Amanda and Kate leading the poppets. The school was buzzing and on stage for the concert the students reflected this with attack, energy, precision and most of all joy – which seemed the appropriate emotion for the season of the year.
