At PQA the education and care of your child is paramount. Every PQA academy carries full liability and injury insurance and all of our staff are CRB vetted. From the Partners who run and manage the schools to the teachers who take the individual classes, we use only the best, most inspirational individuals. We spend a lot of time and energy looking for teachers who have a genuine passion for the performing arts and the ability to instil that passion into the hearts and minds of the young people who attend our academies. Once we have found those people, we don’t stop there. We have a continuous programme of training, support and assessment for our staff – which means our brilliant teachers always have the tools they need to operate at the very top of their game.

Our teachers work from modules that have been created by our highly experienced Creative Directors. Every lesson has been specifically tailored to the age group concerned – so that, for example,  whilst our oldest students get to grips with some of the more complex areas of making a short film in the Film & TV module, our youngest ones take small steps in simply getting used to acting naturally in front of a camera. Our Creative Directors, Partners and teachers alike all have experience in working with children and young people from 5 to 18 – so you can be assured that the style and content of each lesson will be ideally suited to the age and ability of your child.

The academies run for 44 weeks closing for August, and two weeks at Christmas and Easter. The Fees are £7.50 per hour i.e. £22.50 for a three hour session, paid monthly over 12 months. 10% discount for annual payment, 5% for quarterly payments.
 
Should students wish to leave for any reason we only request a months notice, and all siblings automatically receive a discount of 25%

This is brand new generation of weekend drama schools, therefore we are opening new academies all the time, check the home page for new academies. Our first academies opened at Beaconsfield, Bucks and Rastrick Huddersfield in September with others to follow shortly.
