PQA Aylesbury were in for a real treat last Saturday as they experienced the tricks of the trade when it comes to special make up effects film and television.
Hannah Wing, a make up artist who has worked on TV shows such as Casualty and Holby City, and many films, engaged the children in what has been deemed in the children’s own words as ‘The best master class ever. It was wicked!’ All the children learnt how to make a gun shot wound, a cut with glass in, bruising and even for one of the older boys, a Chelsea smile! This wasn’t for many of the younger children though, who preferred flowers and butterflies on their faces, but some, as you can see from the pictures, relished it!
Following an initial demonstration, the children were paired up to experiment on each other, and some of the results were so realistic! If they went out after the session, people all over Aylesbury would be wondering what on earth had happened!
