On 5th June, PQA Aylesbury ventured in to London along with three other PQA academies to perform a medley of songs and dances from the musicals. With a repertoire including Rhythm of Life, America and Fame, the children performed on Her Majesties Theatre, home of Phantom of The Opera.
Rehearsals had taken place for the previous six months, and all the children’s hard work and dedication paid off as they shone on stage and their performances were met with astounding praise. Each song was connected with some dialogue, written by our Comedy and Drama teacher, Jason, and performed by our children.
I was extremely proud of each and every one of the members of PQA Aylesbury, not only for their performances, but also their behaviour and support of other children on the day. Even now, three months later, they continue to talk about what an amazing day it was.
Well done all!
