Welcome to the webpage for PQA Woodford Green!
As of this term we are in our brand new premises at Trinity Catholic High School and our facilities include a state of the art drama studio, a big hall for our musical theatre classes and a lovely foyer area where our parents can mingle over a cup of tea or coffee.
During the year we hold two masterclasses with invited guest teachers and we work towards either a cinema screening of our own short films, a musical theatre production or a theatre project, so our parents can see our great progress!
We hold our sessions every Saturday from 10-1pm and there is ample parking at the front and rear of the venue. (When coming from the High Road, drive past the main School building and turn left down the hedge lane to the car parks)
We hope to see you at Woodford Green soon!

Our People
Principal – Elise Audeyev
Hi, I’m Elise the Principal of our Woodford Green academy. I’ve been passionate about Performing Arts since being a child. Born in Australia, I trained in dance and drama from a young age and went on to further my studies after completing high school. After receiving a diploma in Performing Arts, at DW301 in Melbourne Australia, I went on to star in the Australian and Asian tour of “Singin’ In The Rain.” Having trained as a dance teacher in the past, I became a guest choreographer at several dance schools and thoroughly enjoyed passing on my experiences as a professional performer.
Since arriving in the U.K I have had the fantastic opportunity to work with the likes of Stephen Frears, Judi Dench, Bob Hoskins, Jamie Oliver and Take That to name a few! As a dancer/actress my credits are diverse, ranging from movies and commercials to music videos and catwalk hairshows. Some of these include motion picture “Mrs Henderson Presents”, Sainsbury’s Christmas advert and Take That’s “Shine” music video.
I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with The Pauline Quirke Academy. Along with my team of experienced teachers I know the children at the Woodford Green academy will enjoy the benefits of studying performing arts and while growing in confidence and learning about team work, they will have lots of fun producing some great theatrics!

Jodie-Beth – Musical Theatre
Hi, I’m Jodie Beth. I have been teaching dance, drama and singing for the last few years at various schools around the UK (ages 3-18). I am really looking forward to becoming a permanent member of the PQA team and starting our little Poppets classes in Woodford Green! I also work with learning disabled children and young people for the charity Norwood (ages 5-25) so I have a wide range of experience and understanding when it comes to teaching and supporting these ages and abilities.
At the age of 11, I began my full time training at the Sylvia Young Theatre School, where I gained the Maggie Melville Award for Drama. I then continued my training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and graduated in 2007 with a First Class BA (Hons) in Performance – Musical Theatre.
My theatre credits include Alice Fitzwarren in Dick Whittington at The Broadway Theatre, Barking; High School Musical Live On Stage (UK Tour) in which I played Kelsi and on occasion the lead role of Gabriella; Eponine in Les Miserables in Concert at the Beau Sejour Centre, Guernsey; Aspects of Love (UK Tour) in which I understudied and played the role of Jenny several times and Rachael in the world premiere of Imagine This at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth.
I recently originated the role of Tanya Skinner in Based On A True Story at the Jermyn Street Theatre.
Other stage credits include Ladies In The Light (Battersea Barge); Sally in Me and My Girl and Ismael in Moby Dick the Musical (Kenneth More Theatre); West End Rocks (Hexagon Theatre, Reading); and Frederica in Happily Ever After (Fortune Theatre, London). I also created the role of Jas in The Diary of Me (Harlow Playhouse).
Commercials include Mcdonald’s Popstars: The Rivals and The Hang Out sponsored by Johnsons Clean and Clear.
Radio plays include King Street Junior and Westway for BBC Radio and TV credits include Angel Gabriel in The Real Meaning of Christmas for LWT.
My roles while training at Mountview included Julie in Carousel, Julia in The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Betsy in Sweet Charity and in my final year, Kathy in Company, directed by Timothy Sheader, Rebecca in The Witches of Eastwick and Mabel in the Broadway version of The Pirates of Penzance, directed by Ken Caswell.
During my time at SYTS I performed in numerous cabarets, concerts and choirs, the most prestigious of venues being the Royal Albert Hall and Buckingham Palace. I recorded various language tapes and voice-overs and was a lead vocalist on charity CD recordings for Save the Children and the Oasis Trust. I can also be heard on the film soundtrack for The Beach!
