Mallorca’s “Innocent” Filming.
Last Saturday the Blue and Red Groups went on Location to film their short western film “Innocent”. It was a long day but everyone worked really hard to get a good result.
Thank you and well done to the Cast and Crew.
Coventry’s World Record attempt
PQA Coventry have entered a Midlands based short film competition. Short being the word! The brief was to create a concept / storyboard/script then film a short film of 9.58 seconds long!
We had some fabulous films made in all groups however the children all voted for their favourite in academy and chose the red groups film “YOU’RE LATE” as their winner!
The winning group each won something yummy plus of course a GOLD MEDAL… {not real THOUGH ;(}
All films shall now be forwarded to the Birmingham judges and we shall wait for further news!

Master class – casualty
The students enjoyed a treat with a ‘Casualty’ make up Masterclass on Saturday 21st January.
They had a demonstration and then applied make up to each other. Hannah was great with the students and they all created some interesting effects with scars; cuts; bruises galore!
We hope this didn’t cause too much stress on the way home!

PQA MK Poppets
The Poppets will learn a range of skills as well as obtaining ones already learnt. In our first week (Outer Space) Poppets will be using their imagination and so-forth building it for the future. They will perform in small groups towards the end of the class to help build confidence in performance and socially. Week two (Brilliant Books) will give the Poppets the opportunity to use interpretation as they take lead roles from a book they may, or may not have studied at school. Week three (Music Week) is going to add a new skill into Poppets and hopefully be full of fun as we take music to a new level. Week four (Alice In Wonderland) will try to incorporate all the skills learnt, but with a focus on making them think creatively and share ideas.
